The DBA 4000 Series XS brake rotor is a high-performance aftermarket rear brake component designed to exceed standard OE braking capabilities. Manufactured by Disc Brakes Australia (DBA), this vented rotor features a cross-drilled and slotted surface for optimal performance. Constructed from high-carbon alloyed iron, the DBA42637XS undergoes Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP) to ensure it can withstand the extreme heat and stress of demanding braking conditions. The rotor incorporates DBA's patented Kangaroo Paw ventilation system, which utilizes 144 diamond and teardrop-shaped pillars. This innovative design provides up to a 30% increase in surface area and a 20% improvement in cooling efficiency over conventional straight vane rotors, contributing to consistent and reliable stopping power.
