400ci Small Block GM Crate Engine

The BluePrint Engines BP4002CTC1 is a 400 cubic inch (ci) stroker crate engine designed for GM small-block applications. This base-dressed, carbureted engine delivers a powerful 500 horsepower and 510 ft-lbs of torque, making it suitable for race and motorsports use. It is built with a high-strength cast iron block that is manufactured and machined in the USA, featuring a 4-bolt main, 4.125" bore, and provision for a mechanical fuel pump. The rotating assembly includes a BluePrint forged steel crankshaft with a 3.750" stroke, forged pistons, and 5.700" connecting rods with 150,000 PSI bolts. The engine is internally balanced at the front and externally balanced at the rear. It is topped with BluePrint Engines aluminum cylinder heads (HP8103) featuring 64cc chambers, 2.08" intake valves, 1.60" exhaust valves, and 220cc intake/67cc exhaust runners, with a .500" raised port compared to OEM. This engine is equipped with a BluePrint hydraulic roller camshaft with .553" intake and .576" exhaust lift, and 236° intake/242° exhaust duration at .050" lift with a 110° lobe separation. It also includes a Holley 850cfm double pumper carburetor, a satin aluminum intake manifold, a HEI ready run distributor, valve covers, timing cover, and oil pan. The engine requires 91+ octane fuel and has a compression ratio of 10.3:1. Please note that this engine is not for EGR applications. The aftermarket intake manifold may not be compatible with OEM accessory brackets that use intake-mounted bosses. Each BluePrint engine is dyno tested before shipment and comes with a comprehensive printout of its performance specifications. A standard warranty of 30 months or 50,000 miles (parts and labor) is included for eligible engine part numbers, though race/motorsports engines typically carry no warranty.
