The AEM 400lph Metric High-Flow Inline Fuel Pump is a high-pressure fuel pump designed for high-output naturally aspirated and forced induction EFI vehicles. It features an "044 Style" physical configuration with metric fittings for direct replacement of 044 pumps. This pump is capable of supporting over 1,200 HP normally aspirated and 860 HP at 30 psi boost. It flows 400 lph (105 gph) at 40 PSI and maintains high flow rates at boosted fuel pressures, such as 340 lph at 73 PSI.

The AEM 400lph Metric High-Flow Inline Fuel Pump (PN 50-1009) is engineered for demanding EFI applications, serving as a direct upgrade for those using 044 pumps. Designed to support high-performance vehicles, it is rated for over 1,200 HP in normally aspirated setups and up to 860 HP with 30 psi of boost. This pump ensures consistent fuel delivery under pressure, delivering 400 lph (105 gph) at 40 PSI, 340 lph (90 gph) at 73 PSI, and 270 lph (71 gph) at 120 PSI. Constructed with a plated steel exterior and a roller vane impeller with a ceramic end plate, this pump utilizes a "044 Style" envelope with M18X1.5 female inlet and M12x1.5 male outlet fittings. It is compatible with ethanol-blended fuels like E85/E90 and all types of gasoline, though its lifespan may be reduced with 100% ethanol. Installation considerations include verifying that the vehicle's factory fuel pump wiring can handle the pump's current draw; refer to the instructions for proper wiring requirements. While physically similar to many OEM pumps, it's crucial to check fuel pump sizing for your specific application, as modifications to the fuel tank to accommodate this pump are not recommended by AEM.
