The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit provides the ultimate in stopping power for your vehicle, integrating advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continually cool and refresh the brake pad surface. This rear kit boasts a massive 400mm rotor diameter and 36mm thickness, coupled with an extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper. The caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, features a differential bore configuration with larger, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. Its opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems, while stainless-steel brake lines ensure consistent pedal feel. Each caliper in the SuperComp series requires four brake pads. The kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly designed to reduce rotating and unsprung weight, and to mitigate thermal stresses that can cause rotor warping or cupping. The unique slot design on the rotor helps expel gas and pad debris efficiently and reduces braking noise. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler, while slotted rotors are advised for more track-focused use. Ksport offers both SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance under street and occasional track conditions with reduced dust and noise, and RC5 Race Pads, made for extreme track conditions with higher optimal operating temperatures.
