SRP Professional pistons are advanced lightweight FSR forgings, offering superior strength and up to 20% weight reduction compared to traditional equivalent pistons. They are made from high-silicon 4032 aluminum alloy, which allows for reduced piston-to-wall clearance and quieter operation. These pistons feature accumulator grooves for improved ring seal and are designed for normally aspirated or moderate forced induction/nitrous engine applications. They come standard with a high-performance skirt coating and low-drag performance piston rings (rings sold separately). The ring land and crown thickness are specifically engineered for mild turbo, supercharged, and nitrous applications. Additional features include forced pin oilers for increased wrist pin lubrication, CNC machined domes with radiused valve reliefs for optimum flame travel, and included pin fitting and double spiro locks (#990-042-CS). 990-2930-15-51S wrist pins (150 grams) are also included. The CNC machined ring grooves accept 1/16, 1/16, 3/16mm rings.
