The SRP Professional Piston Kit (Part Number 139521) is designed for Chevrolet Big Block 454 engines. These pistons are forged from high-silicon 4032 aluminum alloy, offering a balance of strength and affordability for performance rebuilds and street/strip applications. They are up to 20% lighter than traditional equivalent pistons, featuring accumulator grooves for improved ring seal and reduced piston-to-wall clearance for quieter operation. Engineered for normally aspirated or moderate forced induction/nitrous engine applications, they come standard with high-performance skirt coating and low drag performance piston rings. Other features include forced pin oilers for increased wrist pin lubrication, CNC machined domes with radiused valve reliefs for optimum flame travel, and included pin fitting with double spiro locks and 990-2930-15-51S wrist pins. The CNC machined ring grooves accept 1/16, 1/16, 3/16mm rings (rings sold separately).
