The SRP line, a division of JE Pistons, offers a high-performance piston set designed for Chrysler Big Block 440 engines. These pistons are forged from durable 4032 aluminum alloy, providing an excellent balance of strength and affordability for performance rebuilds and street/strip applications. Some applications may utilize 2618 alloy. All JE pistons are designed, forged, and machined in-house, ensuring meticulous quality control. Leveraging over 70 years of experience in high-level racing, JE Pistons incorporates premium racing features such as full billet construction, EN plating, and purpose-designed coatings. The pistons feature advanced lightweight FSR forging, accumulator grooves for improved ring seal, high-performance skirt coating, low-drag performance piston rings, and a forced pin oiler for enhanced wrist pin lubrication. Pin fitting and double spiro locks are included, and the valve pockets are redesigned to accommodate larger valves and high-lift cams.
