SRP Pistons 271151 are forged pistons designed for Ford FE 390/428 Big Block engines. They are made from 4032 forged aluminum alloy, heat-treated to SRP specifications, and feature a dish design with a -20cc volume. These pistons are ideal for oval track to street/strip applications and offer thick 0.250-inch top ring lands for use with limited nitrous or boost, while still providing substantial weight savings. They include forced pin oilers for increased wrist pin lubrication, pin fitting, and double spiro locks. The CNC machined ring grooves accept 1/16, 1/16, 3/16 rings (rings sold separately). The wrist pin diameter is 0.975 inches for use with 6.490-inch OEM rods.
