The BluePrint Engines BPC4085CTC is a fully dressed long block crate engine. It features a 408 cubic inch displacement, a hydraulic roller cam, and aluminum cylinder heads with a 58cc chamber. This engine is assembled and ready to run, producing 465 horsepower and 494 ft-lbs of torque.

It includes a cast iron block, a cast steel crankshaft with a 4.000 in stroke, and forged pistons. The engine is externally balanced and features a 2-piece rear main seal. This engine is not for use in pollution-controlled vehicles.

The BluePrint Engines 408 c.i. Small Block Chrysler crate engine is a high-performance, base-dressed solution for classic Mopar builds. Built on a hand-picked, seasoned 360 Magnum block that is square-decked and align-honed, this engine is engineered to produce 465 horsepower and 494 ft. lbs. of torque. The rotating assembly utilizes a cast crankshaft with a 4.000-inch stroke, forged 6.123-inch connecting rods with 150,000 PSI bolts, and forged pistons, all externally balanced for smooth operation. Key performance components include BluePrint-machined Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads with 58cc chambers and 2.02-inch intake valves, paired with a hydraulic roller camshaft featuring .544-inch intake and .541-inch exhaust lift. The package is delivered ready to install with a 750cfm Holley vacuum secondary carburetor, billet distributor, harmonic balancer, timing cover, oil pan, and valve covers. Each unit undergoes comprehensive dyno testing and is backed by a 30-month / 50,000-mile warranty. For successful installation, users must note that the engine requires 91+ octane fuel and is set for 34 degrees of total timing at 4000 RPM. When installing with a manual transmission featuring a 0.750-inch input shaft, a specific pilot bearing (PN FC-69907) is recommended with a 1.81-inch outside diameter. Owners should also ensure use of the correct flexplate/flywheel (BPP727360) and harmonic balancer (BPP360) for proper function.
