The Eagle Specialty Products EAG13010040 is a rotating assembly kit designed for street performance and street/strip applications. It features a 408 cubic inch displacement with a 4.165" bore and 3.750" stroke.

This assembly includes an Eagle Cast Steel crankshaft, Keith Black Hypereutectic pistons with a Flat Top/-7cc dome volume, and 5.700" Eagle SIR 5140 Steel I-Beam connecting rods. It also comes with Plasma Moly (File Fit) rings and King Engine Bearings for both rods and main bearings.

The Eagle Specialty Products EAG13010040 rotating assembly kit is engineered to deliver a balance of performance, reliability, and affordability for street performance or street and strip use. This comprehensive kit is built for Chev SB 400 engines with a 2-piece rear main seal, offering a substantial 408 cubic inch displacement. The assembly features a robust Eagle Cast Steel crankshaft and Keith Black Hypereutectic pistons with a Flat Top dome volume of -7cc. These are complemented by 5.700" Eagle "Bushed" SIR 5140 Steel I-Beam connecting rods, designed for durability. The kit includes Plasma Moly (File Fit) rings and King Engine Bearings for both the connecting rods and main bearings, ensuring smooth operation and longevity. Key specifications include a 9.025" deck height and a 4.165" bore with a 3.750" stroke. The compression ratio varies depending on the combustion chamber volume: 11.7:1 with 58cc, 11.0:1 with 64cc, and 9.7:1 with 76cc. Piston pins are included. Please note that this assembly is not balanced, and a flexplate and harmonic balancer are not included.
