The K-Tuned 409 Series RSX Race Header is a performance-oriented exhaust component built to enhance exhaust gas flow for K20 engines. Constructed from durable 409 series steel with a thicker gauge tubing than some alternatives, this header utilizes a proven 4-2-1 Tri-Y design. The header is fully tig-welded for robust construction. This race header is designed for direct bolt-on installation on 2002-2006 RSX Type-S models. It is also compatible with RSX Premium/Base models and the EP3 hatchback, provided they are equipped with a Type S exhaust. The header's design aims to provide a better fit compared to some other aftermarket options, though it is noted that some competing headers might offer superior raw performance while potentially hanging lower. As with many performance exhaust components, the installation of this header may affect emissions compliance depending on local regulations.
