The Tru-Cool 40K Transmission Cooler is engineered to provide optimal protection by maintaining lower temperatures in your vehicle's transmission and lubricant, thereby extending its lifespan. This unit offers double the cooling performance of standard Tru-Cool LPD models, making it a robust choice for auxiliary transmission oil cooling needs. Constructed from durable, brazed aluminum, this cooler utilizes precise fin spacing to maximize airflow and cooling efficiency. It is rated for a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 40,000 pounds and boasts a BTU rating of 45,000, indicating its high cooling capacity. The fitting size is 3/8″ inverted flare hex with a 5/8″ thread size, which is advantageous for custom transmission line installations. An installation kit is included with this cooler. The kit is universal and contains essential components such as rubber transmission line, various fittings, clamps, and mounting hardware, facilitating a straightforward installation process.
