The Tough Dog BM401068 is a pair of 40mm adjustable front shock absorbers designed to give 4WD users the ability to fine-tune their ride control for various applications. With 9 distinct stages of adjustment, you can precisely tailor the ride characteristics to your personal preference, whether for family use, off-roading, touring, towing, or work. These shocks incorporate Foam Cell technology, which minimizes aeration and cavitation. This technology maximizes the shock's ability to resist fade and perform reliably even in harsh and demanding conditions. They are built tough for rugged environments, featuring an ABS plastic dust shield and an external dust wiper seal to prevent grit from damaging the oil seals around the chrome rod. To protect against damage from side load at full extension, an internal bump stop and piston rod guide provide support. Key specifications include a 40mm internal bore, a 60mm external casing, and an 18mm chrome-plated rod. They utilize high-temperature, all-weather oil and Foam Cell technology. Additional welding is applied to all studs and eye rings for enhanced durability.
