The Progressive Suspension 412 Series Coilover Monotube Shock Absorber is designed for rear mounting on street riding motorcycles. This standard duty, gas-charged shock features a steel construction with a chrome finish. It offers a five-position cam-style spring preload adjuster for easy ride customization. The shock has an extended length of 11.00 inches and a progressive spring rate of 90.00 lb/in - 130.00 lb/in.

The Progressive Suspension 412 Series Without Covers Shock Absorber is a direct upgrade for Harley-Davidson Sportster models from 2004-2022. Its simple yet durable design provides a cost-effective improvement to your motorcycle's suspension performance. The monotube construction utilizes gas-charged damping for consistent performance. Constructed from steel with a chrome finish, these rear-mounted shocks feature a single progressive rate spring (90-130 lb/in) and an 11.00-inch extended length. A key feature is the five-position cam-style spring load preload adjuster, allowing riders to easily dial in their preferred ride for varying conditions and loads. The shocks are made in the U.S.A. Installation notes for specific models are provided: for '86-'15 XL models, modification or spacing of the chain/belt guard may be necessary for proper clearance. Altering the shock length from stock can subtly affect steering characteristics. Heavy Duty Applications are recommended for bikes frequently operated at or near maximum load ratings. Before installing shocks with a different length than OEM, it is crucial to confirm that wheel travel will not be compromised, avoiding potential contact issues with the swingarm, axle, exhaust, chain/belt guard, or tire.
