The UMI Performance chrome moly shock tower brace is engineered to enhance the front-end rigidity and appearance of your 1993-2002 Chevrolet Camaro or Pontiac Firebird. Constructed from lightweight yet strong thin-wall 4130 chrome moly tubing, this brace is TIG welded to robust, CNC laser-cut brackets. Weighing only 4 lbs, it is half a pound lighter than UMI's mild steel version. The installation process is designed to be straightforward, typically taking 15 minutes or less with basic hand tools. This shock tower brace serves multiple purposes: it reinforces the chassis for improved handling characteristics, adds a distinctive visual element to the engine bay, and offers protection to the front end. The use of chrome moly tubing ensures durability and strength while minimizing added weight, contributing to the overall performance of the vehicle.
