4140 Head Stud Kit

The SpeedFactory Racing 4140 Head Stud Kit is engineered for demanding applications, including most forced induction setups capable of producing up to 800+ horsepower. Constructed from 4140 material with a 210,000 psi tensile rating, these studs offer superior strength and reliability. Installation is facilitated by a hex broach on the top of each stud and a dog point end that seats the stud in the block, preloading the fastener for consistent and accurate torquing. The kit comes complete with oversized forged 9/16” 12-point nuts and hardened parallel-ground washers, providing superior load distribution compared to standard 1/2” hardware. These studs are a direct drop-in replacement for OEM head bolts and feature a corrosion-resistant black oxide coating. Each kit includes the head studs, nuts, washers, and ARP Ultra-Torque Assembly Lubricant. This head stud kit is compatible with a wide range of Honda and Acura engines, including 1990-2001 Acura Integras, 2002-2006 Acura RSX Type-S, and 2006-2015 Honda Civic Sis. However, it specifically does NOT fit the K24Z7 engine and FULL B18A/B engines without a VTEC head.
