The Roush 427 R Crate Engine (BD427RC) is engineered to deliver legendary small-block Ford performance for demanding street and track applications. This Windsor-based powerhouse boasts a 7.0L / 427 C.I.D displacement, a 9.8:1 compression ratio, and a hydraulic roller camshaft, all contributing to explosive acceleration, crisp throttle response, and refined drivability. This fully assembled crate engine includes a high-performance carburetor for classic throttle response, high-flow aluminum cylinder heads for enhanced powerband, and essential components like a harmonic balancer, timing cover, oil pan, valve covers, water pump, spark plugs, and wires. It also includes a flywheel, making it compatible with manual transmissions. Professional installation is recommended to ensure correct fitment, tuning, and optimal performance. This engine is compatible with carbureted fuel systems and requires a suitable ignition distributor, which is not included. It is designed for high-performance applications and requires premium fuel (91 octane or higher).
