The lid is also constructed of 14 gauge cold rolled steel with an inner stiffener, and all welds are full arc welds. The lid is attached to the hull with two 4-inch stainless steel butt hinges, which are welded to the box and lid. It includes full-length small parts storage in the front, a full-size, recessed stainless steel paddle latch, and spring-type lid props for assisted opening and closing. A ribbed D-bulb seal is installed in each lid to seal against the flange around the box opening. This product comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
