The Pauter PAU-AUD-220-588-1530FD is a set of six connecting rods designed for Audi EA837 3.0T supercharged engines. Forged from 4340 Chromoly steel with a unique cross-beam design, these rods offer enhanced strength and reliability.

Each rod is rated for 200 ft-lb of torque and features a tapered small end to work with OE pistons. They utilize aluminum-bronze wrist pin bushings and are supplied with ARP 2000 bolts, which have a tensile strength of 220,000 psi, providing superior strength over factory rods. These connecting rods are necessary for significant increases in engine power and performance, supporting higher boost levels and engine speeds above 7,500 RPM.

Each rod is CNC machined to precise tolerances and heat-treated to Rockwell C36 for optimal durability. Included with the set are ARP 2000 bolts, rated at 220,000 psi tensile strength, significantly enhancing the rod's ability to withstand higher power outputs. These connecting rods are recommended for applications seeking to push beyond factory hardware limits, particularly when increasing boost levels or operating the engine above 7,500 RPM. Specifications include a rod length of 153.01mm, a 22mm wrist pin size, and a torque rating of 200 ft-lb per rod. The set is sold balanced end-to-end and is ready for installation.
