Description

It is specifically designed for Dana 30, Dana 44, and GM 8.5-inch front differentials. Constructed with a stout 4340 chromoly cross and caps made from 4140 steel, this super joint prioritizes wear isolation to the more conveniently and affordably replaceable caps. The trunnions are larger in circumference and considerably stronger than conventional u-joints due to the elimination of needle bearings, which also incorporates a grease reservoir for lubrication. Due to the maintenance requirements inherent in its design – specifically the need for frequent regreasing as it lacks sealed needle bearings – this super joint is not recommended for daily driven vehicles. It requires ultra-high grade anti-seize for lubrication. The product includes one complete joint and four full-circle snap rings.
