The ZZP 2.4L LE5 4340 Connecting Rods are a forged performance upgrade for the Ecotec engine platform, specifically for 2.4L LE5, LE9, and LEA applications. While stock rods suffice for mild power levels, these 4340 forged H-beam rods are built to withstand the increased stress of higher horsepower and torque. Constructed from forged 4340 steel, these connecting rods undergo rigorous quality control processes including magna-fluxing, heat treatment, stress relieving, shot peening, and sonic testing to ensure they meet the demands of high-performance builds.
