Constructed from forged 4340 steel, this crankshaft is built for superior strength and durability. It features a non-twist forging process, .125" fillet radii for enhanced strength, and a nitrided surface with a micropolished finish. Key specifications include a 4.250" stroke and 2.200" rod journal size, along with an 8-bolt rear flange. Due to its construction and intended use, this crankshaft requires balancing to precisely match your chosen rods and pistons to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Chamfered or narrowed bearings are required due to the fillet radii. It is important to note that all items of this nature are not for use in pollution-controlled vehicles.
