Constructed from ultra-pure AISI 4340 steel, this crankshaft undergoes multiple heat treatments, including Callies' proprietary Ultra-Case nitride process, to create a deep case that enhances strength and provides an extremely hard, load-bearing wear surface. This heat treatment is deep enough to withstand even a -.010 regrind. This specific Magnum crankshaft model (SAK11A-MG) features a 3.800-inch stroke, a 350 main journal diameter, and a 2.100-inch rod journal diameter. It is designed with a 2-piece rear main seal and is internally balanced. Standard features across the Magnum line include gun-drilled mains and fully profiled counterweights, ensuring optimal performance and durability regardless of engine type.
