The Eagle Specialty Products 430230015090 is a forged 4340 steel crankshaft engineered for high-performance applications, offering superior strength and durability. It features a non-twist forging process, multi-stage heat-treatment, and is stress-relieved and shot-peened. Each crankshaft is meticulously inspected via X-ray, magnaflux, and sonic testing to ensure top-tier quality. This internally balanced crankshaft boasts a 3.000-inch stroke and is designed with chamfered oil holes for optimal oiling. The rod and main journals are precision-ground and micro-polished to less than 5 R.A., with a .125-inch radius for increased strength. A target bob weight of +/- 2 percent significantly reduces balancing time. Key specifications include a forged 4340 steel construction, internal engine balance, and compatibility with both 1-piece and 2-piece rear main seals. It is lightened and requires narrow bearings. Please note that rod and main bearings are not included. The balancer bolt thread size is 5/8 in.-18, and it features a standard crankshaft snout style. Important compatibility information: This crankshaft will not work with original equipment torque converters for AOD or AODE transmissions.
