This component is designed to directly replace the factory up-pipe, allowing for the installation of a 44mm or 45mm external wastegate. Utilizing an external wastegate helps to prevent exhaust gas turbulence, leading to quicker turbo spool times and more precise boost control, ultimately unleashing the motor's potential. Constructed from robust 304 stainless steel, this up-pipe features 2.0mm thick piping and a substantial 0.5-inch thick flange, ensuring longevity and resistance to high temperatures and pressures. The design prioritizes flow with minimal internal steps and precision CNC mandrel bends, complemented by a 1.95-inch inlet and outlet diameter. The integrated dump tube directs excess exhaust gas away, further contributing to efficient wastegate operation. Installation is straightforward as it is a direct bolt-on unit to the OEM header or turbo, and it includes all necessary gaskets and hardware for a complete and hassle-free setup. This up-pipe is compatible with a range of Subaru models, including the 2002-2014 WRX, 2004-2019 STI, 2004-2006 Baja Turbo, 2004-2013 Forester XT, 2005-2009 Legacy GT, 1991-1994 Legacy Turbo, and 2005-2009 Outback XT. It is important to note that this part does not work for RHD (Right Hand Drive) vehicles. Performance gains are estimated between 10-40+ horsepower depending on the vehicle's specific setup.
