440cc High Resistance Fuel Injector

The Bosch 440cc "Green Giant" fuel injector is a high-resistance, saturated injector designed to provide superior fuel atomization. It features the common EV1 electrical connector and an upgraded four-hole disc fuel delivery nozzle, enhancing spray patterns for better combustion. These injectors deliver a typical flow rate of 42 lbs/hr at 50 PSI (approximately 440 CC/min at 50 PSI or 415 CC/min at 43.5 PSI). These high-impedance (approx. 12 Ohms) injectors operate on 8-15 Volts and are compatible with most ECUs. They are capable of functioning at high fuel pressures without the issues found in other high-flow injectors, making them well-suited for turbocharged and supercharged applications. Despite their high flow rate, they remain linear and controllable at low pulse widths, enabling the use of larger injectors without negatively impacting idle or low-speed drivability. They are also compatible with all known fuels, including E85. The Bosch 0280155968 injectors are designed to fit many applications, including Audi A4/TT/Quattro, BMW 3 Series/M3/Z3, Chrysler/Dodge/Eagle/Mitsu/Plymouth 2.0L and 2.4L models, Ford Focus and Mustang 4-Cylinder models, and VW Beetle/Golf/Jetta/Passat models. They are also suitable for Audi/VW 1.8 or 1.8T engines, BMW E30/S14/M10 4-cylinder engines, Ford 2.3 or 2.3T engines (1984-1993), and any Ford 4-Cylinder engine using Bosch EV1 or EV6 style injectors, as well as Lancia Delta models. Some vehicles may require fuel rail spacers or specific electrical connectors; OBD1 style injector clips/plugs may be an additional purchase.
