The Progressive Dynamics PD4645V RV converter is an upgraded smart charger power converter designed to replace stock Parallax/Magnatek #6345, Parallax #7345, Parallax #8345, and WFCO #8945 power converters. It features the 4-Stage smart Charge Wizard technology, which significantly increases battery life by automatically selecting one of four operating modes: BOOST (14.4 Volts for rapid charging to 90%), NORMAL (13.6 Volts for safe completion of charge), STORAGE (13.2 Volts for minimal gassing and water loss), and EQUALIZATION (14.4 Volts every 21 hours for 15 minutes to prevent battery stratification & sulfation). Key features include reverse battery protection, total charge management system, electronic current limiting, high and low AC input protection, variable speed cooling fan, and thermal protection. It is safe for both Lead Acid (default) and Lithium batteries.
