The Motobilt 15 Gallon Fuel Cell is designed for off-road applications, offering a solution for relocating the fuel tank in Jeeps, trucks, or buggies. It is intended for vehicles with extended wheelbases where the rear axle might contact the factory fuel tank, or for those requiring more ground clearance. The fuel cell uses an external fuel pump and is specifically designed to be mounted in the bed of the vehicle, not between the frame rails. It is compatible with Motobilt Jeep TJ and LJ Back Half kits. Key Features & Materials: Capacity: 15 US gallons. Dimensions: 30 inches (L) x 12 inches (H) x 9 inches (W). Tank Material: CNC cut from 1/8 inch 5052 aluminum, press brake-formed, TIG welded. Cap: Large D-ring style cap. Fittings: Features three #8 -AN fittings on top of the tank (two for fuel lines, one for vent line with an included rollover valve). Mount (MB3000 - often sold separately or as part of a combo): Main under-tank plate: CNC Laser Cut from 1/8 inch high strength steel plate. Clamp bodies: CNC Laser Cut from 18 gauge steel, formed on a hydraulic press brake. Notes: External fuel pump required.
