SRP Professional pistons are advanced, lightweight FSR forgings made from high-silicon 2618 aluminum alloy for superior strength and reduced piston-to-wall clearance. They are up to 20% lighter than traditional equivalent pistons. Features include accumulator grooves for improved ring seal, high-performance skirt coating, low drag performance piston rings, and forced pin oilers. These hollow dome pistons fit most open chamber GM, Dart, and Brodix Heads, with CNC machined domes and radiused valve reliefs. They are designed for normally aspirated or moderate forced induction/nitrous engine applications. Includes pin fitting, double spiro locks (#990-042-CS), and 990-2930-15-51S wrist pins (150 grams). CNC machined ring grooves accept 1/16, 1/16, 3/16mm rings (sold separately). These pistons fit tall deck applications with .400 long rods, but not GM Signature series or Edelbrock cylinder heads (P/N# 60549, 60559, 61559, 60449, 60459, 61459, 60479, 60499).
