Description

The JE Pistons 282043R is a piston designed for Big Block Chevrolet engines. It features a 4.610-inch bore and a 1.395-inch compression height, with a -3.00 CC piston volume.

Constructed from 2618 aluminum, this piston is forged in the USA to provide high tensile strength for demanding performance applications. It utilizes a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design to minimize friction and power loss, and may include skirt coating and an accumulator groove depending on the specific application to further reduce friction, wear, and improve ring seal.
