The Bosch FPx-HF fuel pump (BR540) is a high-performance in-tank unit specifically released by Bosch Motorsport for demanding motorsport and offroad applications. It represents the highest flowing Bosch in-tank fuel pump available, capable of delivering up to 540 liters per hour at open flow. The pump maintains impressive flow rates even under pressure, providing up to 460 L/h at 40 PSI (2.75 bar) and a substantial 270 L/h at 145 PSI (10.0 bar). Engineered for reliability and flow, this pump operates efficiently up to its 190 PSI (13.0 bar) pressure relief valve setting. It features a compact 46mm body and a lightweight design (550g), with a 9.0mm barbed outlet fitting suitable for rubber or nylon hose. Included with the pump are an electrical connector with wires and a high-flow filter. The electrical current draw is approximately 16A at 40 PSI, 19A at 80 PSI, and 24A at 145 PSI. Due to its specialized nature and high-flow capabilities, this Bosch Motorsport fuel pump is intended for generic use in custom applications. It may require custom fittings and adaptors for installation. Proper installation inside the fuel tank via a hanger or similar mounting system is essential, with care taken to prevent the filter from separating from the pump.
