The CPP 460 Series Power Steering Conversion Gearbox is engineered to upgrade 1961-1969 Dodge Trucks from manual to modern power steering. Its compact design saves space while the larger internal bore provides increased hydraulic assist for improved steering response, reduced effort, and enhanced control. Featuring a 13.6:1 steering ratio, this unit offers a noticeable improvement in steering feel and control compared to stock manual systems. It is a brand-new gearbox, constructed with modern internal components to ensure long-term durability and consistent performance. The 460 Series delivers a more comfortable driving experience with improved handling and increased steering assist. Key specifications include a 3/4 x 30 input shaft and pressure/return ports sized for common hydraulic systems. It requires a recommended 2.8-3.5 gallons per minute flow rate and 1,100-1,250 PSI, with slight adjustments if used with a HydraStop system. The unit has a turn-to-turn ratio of 3.75, contributing to its responsive feel. A warranty is included with this new gearbox.
