The Race Tech Gold Valve Valve Kit provides a bolt-on performance upgrade for shock absorbers, allowing riders to fine-tune their suspension for better handling on the trail or the race track. By replacing standard factory valving, this kit improves overall control, traction, ride plushness, and bottoming resistance, making it an essential component for serious off-road enthusiasts. Designed for 46mm shocks, this kit features an improved, long-wearing, low-friction sealing design that helps decrease damping fade during extended use. The kit includes a shock piston, valving shims, comprehensive valving charts, and detailed instructions to guide you through the process. It also comes with the "Technical Edge Shock Maintenance and Gold Valve Installation" instructional video to assist with setup. This kit offers versatile tunability to accommodate different riding styles. For those requiring extra support, specifically supercross settings or larger riders, Type 2 configurations are available to increase bottoming resistance.
