The CipherAuto CPA5000HB-BK is a universal racing harness bar engineered to complete your safety system upgrade. It provides a secure attachment point for multi-point seat belt harness systems, enhancing driver safety during spirited driving or track use. Beyond its safety function, this harness bar contributes to interior aesthetics and offers additional chassis reinforcement. Constructed from robust 409 Stainless Steel, the CPA5000HB-BK is built for durability and stability, while also being lighter than many alternatives. The bar features TIG welding for superior strength and a uniform finish, and is finished with a black powder coating for a sleek look. Its 4-point mounting design and 48-inch length ensure broad compatibility. Installation is facilitated by included mounting hardware, though minor modifications may be necessary for a perfect fit in some applications. Specific fitment notes are provided for certain vehicles, such as the requirement to reverse both ends on the harness bar for proper fitment in VW Jetta, Nissan Sentra, Lexus IS300, and Scion xB models. Additionally, the 1988-1989 Honda Civic/CRX requires pillar-mounted belts, and the 1992-1995 Honda Civic specifically excludes sedan models. For the 1990-1996 Nissan 300ZX 2+2, mounting must be done from the rear seatbelt points, and the 2004-2006/2008-2010 Scion xB may require cutting into pillar covers.
