48 STEEL UPPER SIDE BOX (1DOOR) BLK

Constructed from 14 gauge cold rolled steel, this RKI US-Series upper side truck tool box features a five-stage metal pretreatment anticorrosion protection system and a durable black polyester powder coat finish. It has full arc welds, a 14 gauge cold rolled steel inner stiffener on the door, and three stainless steel pillow block type hinges with self-lubricating bushings and 5/16\" stainless steel hinge pins. The top panel forms a drip rail over the door, and heavy-duty machine chain holds the door in a horizontal position (detachable for 180° swing). A full-size, stainless steel paddle handle rotary latch is recessed into the door, and it can be closed with the latch locked. Two keys are furnished per box. A ribbed D-Bulb seal is installed in a full perimeter channel around the door opening, with a knife edge formed into the door to contact the seal. Mounting hardware is included.
