48 STEEL UPPER SIDE BOX (1DOOR) WHT

The RKI Top Mount Truck Tool Box, Model US48C, is constructed from 14-gauge cold rolled steel with a five-stage metal pretreatment and a durable black polyester powder coat. It features full arc welds (no spot welds) and a single door made of 14-gauge cold rolled steel with an inner stiffener. The door is attached with three stainless steel pillow block type hinges with self-lubricating bushings and 5/16" stainless steel hinge pins, all welded to the box. The top panel forms a drip rail over the door, which is held in a horizontal position by a heavy-duty machine chain that detaches to allow the door to swing down to 180°. A full-size, recessed stainless steel paddle handle rotary latch allows the door to be closed while locked. Two keys are provided. A ribbed D-Bulb seal in a full perimeter channel around the door opening, along with a knife edge formed into the door, ensures protection from the elements. Mounting hardware is included.
