The HSP 481-HSP Cold Air Intake Bundle is engineered for 2007.5-2010 LMM Duramax Chevrolet and GMC trucks, offering a significant performance upgrade over the stock intake system. Recognizing the potential bottleneck of the factory setup, this bundle includes a high-flow cold air intake with a 4 1/2 inch mandrel-bent tubing. This design increases the volume of air entering the engine and reduces airflow turbulence, promoting a smoother path for cooler, denser air. A key component of this bundle is the HSP Diesel VGT Mouthpiece. The factory mouthpiece can restrict the increased airflow provided by an upgraded intake. HSP's VGT mouthpiece features enhanced bends, a larger diameter, and is hand-fitted for optimal flow and integration with the cold air intake. This combination ensures that the engine can receive the air it needs for maximum power potential. To further optimize performance, the bundle includes an HSP Diesel heat shield, which effectively blocks hot air from the engine bay from entering the intake.
