4847RS Drop-In Turbocharger Upgrade

The PRL 4847RS Drop-In Turbocharger Upgrade is designed as a true replacement for the factory turbocharger in 2016-2021 Honda Civic 1.5T (Coupe FC3, Hatch FK7, Sedan FC1) and 2017-2020 Honda Civic Si (Coupe FC3, Sedan FC1) vehicles. This upgrade installs without modifications and retains OEM-style fitment, aiming to provide significantly more power while maintaining quick response and drivability. At its core, the 4847RS utilizes a 7075 point-milled aluminum compressor wheel (48.32mm inducer / 60mm exducer) and an Inconel 713C turbine wheel (41.5mm inducer / 47mm exducer). These components, along with a HT250 CHRA and an Si3N4 ceramic bearing system, are designed for exceptional response, durability, and long-term reliability. The wastegate arm is constructed from Inconel for added robustness. This turbocharger is noted to be 48-state legal. However, it is important to note that the PRL 4847RS is not recommended for CVT transmissions due to the higher torque output potentially exceeding the transmission's safe limit. A clutch upgrade is recommended for 1.5T Manual Transmission and Si applications.
