The Mitsubishi 4G64 is a remanufactured, non-balanced, OHC inline 4-cylinder long block engine assembly engineered as a direct replacement for various CAT and Mitsubishi forklift models produced between 1993 and 2005. Each unit is constructed with an aluminum cylinder head and comes fully dressed with a valve cover, front timing covers, oil pan, and a water pump, simplifying the installation process for professional technicians. The engine can be identified by the "4G64" casting on the back of the cylinder head and a matching stamp on a raised machined area on the side of the block. This long block is intended specifically for non-balanced forklift applications and is not compatible with balanced 4G64 engine configurations. Customers should verify serial numbers against specific CAT and Mitsubishi forklift models before purchase to ensure proper fitment. Proper maintenance, including draining all fluids from the core and returning it in the original shipping crate within 90 days, is required to fulfill core return policies and warranty coverage.
