4L60/65E Level VI Performance Automatic Transmission

The RPM Transmissions 4L60/65E Level VI is a performance automatic transmission engineered for Universal/Street Rod applications. It features a media-blasted transmission case and is equipped with a comprehensive array of upgraded components to handle increased power and torque. Key internal upgrades include the RPM Level VI 3-4 clutch pack, a reinforced sunshell with collar and bearing, a 4L65E low roller clutch, billet 4th gear servo, and a billet over-run piston. The transmission also incorporates an extra-wide, heavy-duty, double-caged 29-element sprag, a 300M billet output shaft, and 5-pinion planetary gearsets for both front and rear. A Transgo HD-2 shift kit and Corvette Servo are included for improved shift performance. The input drum is RPM-sleeved, and an updated aluminum accumulator piston and a wide 2-4 band are utilized. This Level VI build also comes with a new bushing kit, new shift solenoids, a new GM valve body spacer plate, and a GM filter. Clutch and band clearances are set to RPM's specifications. Each transmission is dyno-tested before shipping to ensure quality and performance. It is compatible with 93-97 LT1 Fbody and 98-02 LS1 Fbody models, requiring either a core return or a $750 core charge.
