4L60E Level VI Automatic Transmission

The RPM Transmissions 4L60E Level VI is a robust automatic transmission engineered for enhanced performance and durability, specifically designed for 1997-2005 Chevrolet Corvette models. This unit boasts a comprehensive build featuring an RPM Level VI 3-4 clutch pack, an RPM reinforced sunshell with collar and bearing, and a 4L65E low roller clutch for improved strength. Key internal upgrades include a billet 4th gear servo, a Corvette Servo, and a wide 2-4 band to handle increased power and torque. Further enhancing its performance capabilities, the Level VI transmission incorporates a Transgo HD-2 shift kit for firmer shifts and better control, an updated aluminum accumulator piston, and a heavy-duty, double-caged 29-element sprag. The input drum is RPM sleeved, and a billet over-run piston is included. For ultimate strength and reliability, it is equipped with a 300m billet output shaft and front and rear 5-pinion planetary gearsets. Each transmission is media blasted for a clean finish and includes a new GM valve body spacer plate, new shift solenoids, a new wiring harness, and a GM filter. RPM Transmissions emphasizes quality by ensuring all clutch and band clearances are set to their specifications. Furthermore, every Level VI transmission undergoes dyno-testing before shipping to guarantee performance and reliability. Customers should be aware that transmission cores are required, with an option to purchase without a core for an additional charge, which will be credited upon return of a usable core.
