4L60E Valve Body Repair Kit

The TransGo 4L60E SHIFT KIT® Valve Body Repair Kit is engineered to enhance the performance and durability of 1993-2015 General Motors 4L60E, 4L65E, and 4L70E automatic transmissions. This kit targets prevalent transmission complaints including TCC slip or shudder, diagnostic trouble codes P1870 and P0894, harsh 1-2 shifts, double bump shifts, 2-3 flare-ups, burnt 3-4 clutch plates, and inconsistent pressure boost problems. It specifically addresses wear in the torque converter clutch regulator valve bore, which is a common cause of TCC slip and can lead to harsh shifting as the ECM compensates with high line pressure. Featuring a comprehensive set of valve body, servo, pump, and accumulator components, this kit recalibrates the entire accumulation system. Modifications work in conjunction with a slight increase in line pressure to significantly improve the transmission's overall durability and shift feel. The included USA-made, hardened steel TCC isolator and regulator valve feature longer lands that restore hydraulic integrity by utilizing unworn areas of their bores. The kit also offers options for the TCC regulator valve components compatible with vehicles both with and without Active Fuel Management (AFM). The kit corrects and prevents issues such as TCC slip or shudder, codes P1870 and P0894, harsh 1-2 shifts, double bump shifts, 2-3 flare-ups, burnt 3-4 clutch plates, 2-4 band failure, and pump and valve bore wear.
