The Hooker Blackheart transmission adapter bracket (71223013HKR) is engineered for LS engine swap projects, specifically for integrating a 4L80E or 4L85E transmission. Constructed from durable steel with a black powdercoated finish, this component is designed as an integral part of Hooker Blackheart's LS engine swap systems, ensuring bolt-in compatibility with their LS engine mounting brackets, headers, exhaust systems, and oil pans. This adapter bracket is validated for use with specific Hooker Blackheart transmission crossmembers. It is compatible with the 12616HKR crossmember for 1970-1981 GM F-bodies, the 71222016HKR crossmember for 1979-1993 Ford Mustangs, and the 71222013HKR crossmember for 1994-2004 Ford Mustangs. The product is backed by a manufacturer's limited lifetime warranty.
