4L80E Level VI Automatic Transmission

The RPM 4L80E Level VI is a performance automatic transmission specifically engineered for the 2004-2006 Pontiac GTO. Key internal upgrades include a 300m billet input shaft, a billet FWD clutch hub, and RPM Hi-Energy clutch packs with new steel plates in all gears. It also features a direct clutch drum equipped with a new 34 element sprag for improved engagement and durability. The transmission is fitted with an RPM shift kit, all new bushings, thrust washers, and new Torrington bearings, with roller bearings used in place of thrust washers where feasible. Further enhancing its reliability and performance, this Level VI transmission incorporates a new GM internal wiring harness, new GM shift solenoids, and a new spacer plate. It also comes with new GM speed sensors and a billet steel direct drum with a super sprag and a 5-clutch intermediate for robust operation.
