This G Force Crossmembers crossmember (RCS-10B-4L80) is specifically engineered for 1982-2005 2WD S10 Blazers and S15 Jimmy models with a horizontal frame shelf. It facilitates the installation of 4L80 and 4L80E transmissions, making it an essential component for transmission swaps. The crossmember is finished in a durable black powder coat and includes all necessary mounting hardware. Installation may require enlarging existing frame rail holes to 1/2" to accommodate the provided 7/16" hardware, or using new Grade #8 3/8" fasteners. It is crucial to note that this crossmember will not fit S10 Pickups or vehicles where the crossmember mounts through the side of the frame rail.
