Description

The ATS 4R100 Co-Pilot Transmission Controller is a transmission kit recommended for light-duty pickup trucks with heavy-duty aftermarket transmissions and torque converter packages. While it functions on stock transmissions, factory shafts are weak and prone to breakage, and the factory torque converter clutch can fail under high load. Factory computers disengage lockup to protect internal components under high load, making an aftermarket transmission advisable to prevent failure.
