4T65E Aluminum Transmission Pan

The ZZPerformance 4T65E Aluminum Transmission Pan offers an improved cooling solution for your transmission fluid by replacing the stock pan with a durable aluminum version. This direct-fit upgrade enhances thermal management without the need for complex line modifications or the installation of an auxiliary heat exchanger. A key feature of this transmission pan is the integrated magnetic drain plug. This plug effectively captures ferrous metal particles present in the transmission fluid, allowing for easier maintenance and providing an indication of internal wear. Draining the fluid is also simplified, preventing the mess often associated with stock pans. The pan is pre-drilled to accommodate the standard 1998 and newer models which utilize 6mm bolts for installation. However, ZZPerformance acknowledges that some earlier models, particularly certain 1997 and older vehicles, employ a larger 8mm bolt. To ensure compatibility, customers with these earlier models should select the '97 variant if their transmission uses the 8mm bolts. This transmission pan is confirmed to be compatible with all 4T65E HD and non-HD transmissions.
