Overview

The Dobinsons 4x4 Snorkel Kit is a raised air intake system designed to provide cleaner air to your engine. It increases air intake height for safer water crossings and reduces dust intake, potentially increasing engine performance by ensuring a cleaner, more free-flowing air filter. The snorkel is manufactured from durable, UV-resistant LLDPE material and includes an installation template and all necessary mounting hardware. Fitment is specific to certain vehicle and engine configurations, and not recommended for others.
Show original supplier description
The Dobinsons 4x4 Snorkel Kit is engineered to enhance off-road capabilities by providing a raised air intake system for your vehicle. This system helps protect your engine from water ingress during river crossings and reduces dust intake in dry environments. By drawing cleaner, cooler air from above the vehicle, it can maintain optimal engine performance and longevity. It is rotationally molded using precision CNC-shaped aluminum dies to ensure a tailored fit for specific vehicle models. The kit includes a template, fitting instructions, and all necessary mounting hardware for straightforward installation. This snorkel is specifically designed for the Volkswagen Amarok 2.0L TDI models, including Highline, Trendline, and Ultimate trims with flares, from model years 2010-2016. Fitment to any vehicle and engine not matching this description is not recommended by Dobinsons and will not be covered by their return or warranty policy. Dobinsons emphasizes confirming fitment before ordering to reduce the risk of receiving an incompatible product; if their sales team recommends an incompatible setup or confirms fitment and it does not fit, they will work to make it right and may waive restocking fees if the item is in like-new condition.
