5.0L Coyote Crate Engine

The Ford Performance M-6007-M50A is a 2017 5.0L Coyote crate engine, representing a modern 5.0L 32-valve DOHC V-8 powerplant. This engine is engineered to deliver a robust 435 horsepower at 6500 rpm and 400 ft.-lb. of torque at 4250 rpm when using premium fuel. Its construction features a lightweight all-aluminum cylinder block with cross-bolted main bearing caps and thick main bearing bulkheads for exceptional bottom-end strength. This crate engine incorporates advanced technologies such as Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing (Ti-VCT) to maximize performance and efficiency. Internally, it is equipped with Hypereutectic Aluminum Pistons, Forged Steel Connecting Rods, and features optimized oil drainback and windage control for improved high-rpm operation. The engine also includes an 8-quart capacity oil pan, an 80mm Single Bore Drive-By-Wire Throttle Body, and a Tuned Composite Intake Manifold. Specific components included are an aluminum block, aluminum cylinder heads with four valves per cylinder, and variable intake and exhaust camshaft timing. It also comes with the passenger side 409 Stainless Steel tubular exhaust manifold for a Mustang GT and includes a manual transmission engine harness and flywheel for swap applications. Note that the vehicle harness and PCM are not included, and the driver side exhaust manifold is not included. Important considerations for installation: For the low oil sensor to function correctly in 2015-2016 Mustangs, the existing oil pan must be reused or replaced with the BR3Z-6675-A pan.
