By replacing the restrictive factory resonator, this X-pipe promotes improved exhaust flow, which can lead to gains in horsepower, torque, and overall performance. Constructed from 2.5-inch diameter, 16-gauge, mandrel-bent 409 stainless steel tubing, this X-pipe offers excellent durability and corrosion resistance for a long lifespan. The cut-and-clamp design allows for installation by reusing the stock clamps and factory catalytic converters, ensuring the vehicle remains smog legal. The X-pipe configuration provides a distinct, loud, and raspy race car growl to the exhaust note. Installation is a cut-and-clamp affair, with an approximate time of 2 hours and requiring light to moderate mechanical skill. The package includes the X-pipe and two band clamps.
